Gnomeの設定、例えばパネルのサイズ変更や自動的に隠す設定をするには、gconf-editor を使う。
gconf-editor
表示されたウィンドウから、Windowsのレジストリエディタの様に、設定を変更する事が可能。例えば、パネルの場合は
/apps/panel/toplevels
の各設定項目を修正すれば良い。
