travelnote -day 27: from Whitianga to Mt. Maunganui-

Followed by yesterday,
I can’t use the internet,
so I write this post by my cell phone via e-mail.

This morning,
I went to a language school to try some classes.
Yes, that was my purpose.
Now I’m planning to go to a school and study English,
and trying to check and find a suitable one for me.

After that,
I moved from Whitianga to Mt. Mounganui.
This is the town beside Tauranga,
which I visited about 10 days ago,
but I didn’t visit there,
so it’s my first time to come to.

As the town’s name says,
the mount Maunganui is popular to visit.
If I had a time,
I’d like to climb that mountain,
but unfortunately I must go to try another school tomorrow morning,
and return to Auckland in the afternoon.
So I won’t have a chance to go there this time…

Now I’m staying at Pacific Coast Backpackers.
I didn’t know,
but there is a Japanese worker here.
You know,
it makes me confortable and easy^^;

travelnote -day 26: from Auckland to Whitianga-

In fact, I had planned to stay at Auckland for a while,
but now I’m at Whitianga in Coromandel Peninsura, about 3 or 4 hours from Auckland.
I’ll write about the reason later.
Yes, I have a reason, off cource ^^;

I also will write about the detail of my trip later,
but one of the most interesting place is the famous Cathedral Cave.
It was beautiful and absorbing.

Now I’m staying at On the Beach Backpackers.
As its name says, it’s on the beach
and I may see the sunrise from my room tomorrow morning.

travelnote -day 24: at Auckland-

旅を始めてから

何かしら書き続けてきた

このtravelnote。

その連続記録も

とうとう昨日

途切れてしまいました。

というのも、

昨日はフラットでお世話になっている

Takeさん、Keiさんの

お友達の誕生日パーティに

招待していただいて、

帰りが遅かったというのが

理由の一つです。

まぁ

Aucklandに入ってからは

旅モードではなくなっていて、

書くネタもあまり無いというのも

ありますが。

さて、

Aucklandに入って１週間。

この間

この先のプランについて

いろいろ考えていたのですが、

まずは自分の英語力を

客観的に判断する為、

TOEFLを受けてみる事にしました。

ただ、悩ましいのが、

NZはイギリス英語圏なので、

アメリカ英語テストであるTOEFLの

教材や関連本が

ほぼ皆無である、

という事。

図書館にて１冊だけ置いてあった

解説書を流し読みし、

これも１冊だけ置いてあった

問題集を軽く眺めてみましたが、

多分試験日までにできる準備は

これくらい。

完全に

実力勝負となりそうです。
